On this performance model, which is regularly pushed to high revs, these symptoms frequently appear following excessive play in the turbo shaft or wear to the wastegate system — warning signs the driver should act on quickly before further damage occurs.

New turbo for the Audi TTS – product overview

This new turbo is compatible with reference 53049880064, intended for the Audi TTS fitted with the 2.0 TFSI petrol engine with a capacity of 1984 cm³. Remember also to check the air filter and the condition of the intercooler — two components that are often overlooked but have a direct impact on turbo lifespan. When starting the engine for the first time, oil priming is recommended to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings. Finally, respecting warm-up and cool-down times, along with regular oil changes using a suitable high-quality oil, will help preserve your new turbo on your Audi TTS for the long term.

This same turbo also fits

New Audi S3 Turbo – Ref. 53049880064

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_a662f21e-9005-4f9d-a25d-3ea5a3a3dac9.png?v=1790814117
