This kind of demanding cycle — frequent idling alternating with bursts of acceleration — places considerable thermal and mechanical stress on the turbocharger of the 1.2 VVT-i engine. A worn turbo quickly makes itself known through a loss of power under acceleration, unusual exhaust smoke, or a noticeable lack of responsiveness under load — all symptoms that directly affect the profitability of a working vehicle.

Compatibility of the new turbo for the Proace 1.2 VVT-i

This new turbo is compatible with reference 887157-5001S, designed for the 1.2 VVT-i 110 and 1.2 VVT-i 131 engines of the Toyota Proace, associated with engine codes EB2ADT and EB2ADTS. Before placing an order, it is strongly recommended that you check the reference marked on your old turbo or on the vehicle's engine plate, as several turbo variants may be fitted across the same model range depending on the version and trim level.

Warranty and delivery of the turbo for your Proace

This new turbo is sold as a straightforward purchase: there is nothing to return — no collection or return of the old turbo is required. A single delivery is made, comprising the new turbo only. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional.

Advice before fitting on a 1.2 VVT-i engine

On this type of turbocharged petrol engine, premature failure is often caused by a lubrication fault linked to incorrect oil, missed oil changes, or a clogged air filter allowing contaminants through. Before installing the new turbo, it is essential to check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses and the air intake, as well as the intercooler, to rule out any external cause of failure. On start-up, the turbo must be primed with oil to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings as soon as the engine fires.

Payment options

Payment for your new turbo can be spread over several instalments — pay in up to 10 instalments — to help manage the cost of this purchase for your Toyota Proace.

This same turbo also fits

New Citroën C4 Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Peugeot 308 Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Citroën Berlingo Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Citroën C3 Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Citroën C4 Cactus Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Citroën C5 Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Citroën DS3 Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Opel Combo Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Opel Crossland Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Peugeot 2008 Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Peugeot 208 Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Peugeot 3008 Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Peugeot 5008 Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Peugeot Partner Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

New Peugeot Rifter Turbo – Ref. 887157-5001S

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_4b5fc2dd-e54b-443a-8256-69b39d402bf3.png?v=1790811302
