turbo-audi-a3-neuf-04l253019q
New Audi A3 Turbo – Ref. 04L253019Q

Why does the Audi A3 2.0 TDI turbo fail?

On the Audi A3 fitted with the 2.0 TDI engine, the turbocharger is put under considerable strain during acceleration phases and exhaust gas recirculation. The most common causes of failure observed on these engines are linked to insufficient lubrication (low oil level, missed oil changes, or use of an unsuitable oil grade), a clogged air filter disrupting intake airflow, or a blocked intercooler that promotes overheating of the turbine assembly. Driving with sudden temperature spikes, without allowing the engine to cool down before switching off, also accelerates wear on the bearings and the variable geometry mechanism specific to this unit.

Compatibility of the new turbo for the Audi A3

This new turbo is compatible with reference 04L253019Q, intended for 2.0 TDI engines fitted to the Audi A3, found in particular on engine codes CRBC, CRLB, CRUA, DBGA and DCYA. Before placing an order, we recommend checking the reference printed on the label of your old turbo to confirm exact compatibility with your vehicle.

Equivalent references

030TC11002000

04L253010B

04L253010BU

04L253010BV

04L253010BX

04L253010T

04L253010TU

04L253010TV

04L253010TX

04L253019Q

04L253019QV

04L253019QX

04L253020M

04L253020MU

04L253020MV

04L253020MX

04L253020Q

04L253020QU

04L253020QV

04L253020QX

BM-000

F026510033

F026510034

Exchange basis and warranty for this new turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of your old turbo is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, and it is only collected after delivery and fitting of the new turbo, so that your Audi A3 is not left off the road. Priming the turbo with oil before the first start-up ensures immediate lubrication of the bearings and prevents dry running, which would be detrimental to its service life.

This same turbo also fits

New SEAT Leon Turbo – Ref. 04L253019Q

New Skoda Octavia Turbo – Ref. 04L253019Q

New Volkswagen Golf Turbo – Ref. 04L253019Q

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_d4cf0848-709f-4646-a413-06c142b456d6.png?v=1790813504
