As soon as a turbo starts to weaken on this engine, the driver will often notice a flat spot under acceleration, an unusual whistling noise or exhaust smoke – all clear signs that replacement with a new turbo compatible with reference 53039880105 is needed.

Compatibility of the turbo with the Audi A3 2.0 TFSI

This new turbo is compatible with the 2.0 TFSI petrol engines fitted to the Audi A3, including those with engine codes BWA, BPY, AXX, CBFA, CCZA and CAWB. Before placing an order, it is strongly recommended that you check the reference stamped on your old turbo as well as the engine code on your vehicle's identification plate, to confirm exact compatibility with your Audi A3.

Equivalent references

06F145701

06F145701B

06F145701BV

06F145701BX

06F145701C

06F145701CV

06F145701CX

06F145701D

06F145701DV

06F145701DX

06F145701E

06F145701EU

06F145701EV

06F145701EX

06F145701F

06F145701FV

06F145701FX

06F145701G

06F145701GU

06F145701GV

06F145701GX

06F145701H

06F145701HU

06F145701HV

06F145701HX

06F145701V

06F145701X

53039880105

Exchange basis and warranty for this Audi A3 turbo

This turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Audi A3 is not left off the road unnecessarily. The turbo is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a professional. Payment for your order can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Fitting advice and common causes of failure on the 2.0 TFSI

On this turbocharged petrol engine, turbo longevity is closely linked to the quality and frequency of oil changes, as degraded oil or a low oil level accelerates wear on the bearings and journals. A clogged air filter or a cracked intercooler can also disrupt the air supply and damage the turbine. Before fitting, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses and the air intake, and prime the new turbo with oil before the first start-up to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings.

This same turbo also fits

New Volkswagen Golf Turbo – Ref. 53039880105

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_40c59416-d9fa-4c28-b70f-315cb6b66f78.png?v=1790810511
