Insufficient lubrication, oil that does not meet the engine's specifications, or oil changes left too long between intervals all encourage sludge build-up in the oil galleries and premature wear of the turbo bearings. A clogged air filter or a cracked intercooler also disrupts airflow and accelerates turbine fatigue, as does habitually pushing the engine hard without allowing a cooling-down period before switching it off.

New turbo for Audi A3 1.9 TDI: compatibility and reference

This new turbo is compatible with reference 713673-5007S and fits the Audi A3 equipped with 1.9 TDI engines, known under engine codes AHF, ASV, AJM, AUY, ATD and BVK. Before placing an order, it is recommended that you check the reference printed on the old turbo or on the engine plate of the vehicle, as several turbo variants may have been fitted to this generation of A3 depending on power output and date of manufacture.

Equivalent references

038253019C

038253019CU

038253019CV

038253019CV500

038253019CX

038253019N

038253019NU

038253019NV

038253019NV220

038253019NV225

038253019NV500

038253019NX

03G253014E

03G253014EU

03G253014EV

03G253014EX

03G253016L

03G253016LU

03G253016LV

03G253016LX

03G253016N

03G253016NV

03G253016NX

1135819

1556571

1556572

54399880017

6M21-9G438-AA

713672-5007S

713673-5007S

768331-5003S

8119191

RE6M219G438AA

YM219G438BA

Exchange basis and warranty for this Audi A3 turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of the old turbo is required, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Audi A3 is not left off the road. When starting the engine for the first time, priming the turbo with oil is essential to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings from the moment of start-up. Checking the air filter and using the correct oil grade specified for unit-injector engines will help preserve the longevity of the new turbo fitted to the A3.

This same turbo also fits

New Ford Galaxy Turbo – Ref. 713673-5007S

New SEAT Cordoba Turbo – Ref. 713673-5007S

New SEAT Ibiza Turbo – Ref. 713673-5007S

New SEAT Leon Turbo – Ref. 713673-5007S

New SEAT Toledo Turbo – Ref. 713673-5007S

New Skoda Octavia Turbo – Ref. 713673-5007S

New Volkswagen Bora Turbo – Ref. 713673-5007S

New Volkswagen Golf Turbo – Ref. 713673-5007S

New Volkswagen New Beetle Turbo – Ref. 713673-5007S

New Volkswagen Sharan Turbo – Ref. 713673-5007S

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_130b7bd5-7bf1-4af1-8afe-42253215c180.png?v=1790812130
