This mixed driving style places considerable stress on the turbocharger, particularly when the engine is revved after a prolonged period of idling – which can accelerate wear on the bearings and variable-geometry vanes if maintenance is not kept up to scratch.

Compatibility of the new turbo for the Audi A4

This new turbo is compatible with reference 717858-5010S and fits the following Audi A4 models according to available manufacturer data: the 1.9 TDI 130 with engine codes AVF and AWX, and the 2.0 TDI 136 and 140 with engine codes BLB and BPW. Before placing an order, we recommend checking the reference printed on your old turbo or on the vehicle's identification plate to confirm exact compatibility with your engine.

Equivalent references

038145702

038145702E

038145702EV

038145702EX

038145702G

038145702GU

038145702GV

038145702GV505

038145702GV550

038145702GX

038145702J

038145702JU

038145702JV

038145702JX

038145702N

038145702NU

038145702NV

038145702NX

038145702V

038145702X

57439880012

717858-5010S

Exchange basis and warranty for this Audi A4 turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required; however, it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted to your Audi A4, so your vehicle is never left off the road. Before fitting, carefully inspect the oil circuit, the condition of the vacuum and air hoses, and the airtightness of the intake and intercooler. When starting the engine for the first time, make sure to prime the new turbo with oil to ensure correct lubrication from the very first revs.

This same turbo also fits

New Audi A6 Turbo – Ref. 717858-5010S

New Skoda Superb Turbo – Ref. 717858-5010S

New Volkswagen Passat Turbo – Ref. 717858-5010S

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_965a0d6a-0027-4cc5-9a01-06bd5d74ad23.png?v=1790812040
