turbo-audi-a6-neuf-818987-5001s
New Audi A6 Turbo – Ref. 818987-5001S

What changes behind the wheel of your Audi A6 with a healthy turbo

On an Audi A6 (C7) fitted with the 2.0 TDI, a turbo in good condition makes itself felt immediately: crisp pick-up from low revs, smooth and linear power delivery up to peak torque, and no black smoke under acceleration. A worn turbo, by contrast, shows up as sluggish throttle response, a noticeable loss of power – especially when overtaking or under load (towing, motorway driving) – and sometimes an unusual whistling noise or rising oil consumption. Fitting a new turbo restores the original driving feel of this saloon, which is well regarded for its refinement and fuel efficiency in mixed use.

Compatibility of the new turbo for the Audi A6 2.0 TDI

This new turbo is compatible with reference 818987-5001S, intended for Audi A6 (C7) models fitted with the 2.0 TDI 163 hp and 177 hp, 1968 cm3 Diesel engines. The engine codes covered are CAHA, CAHB, CGLA, CGLB, CGLC, CGLD, CGLE, CMGA and CMGB. Before placing an order, we recommend checking the reference printed on your vehicle's original turbo, as several housing or actuator variants may exist depending on the year and trim level.

Equivalent references

03L145701K

03L145701KV

03L145701KX

03L145701L

03L145701LV

03L145701LX

03L145702G

03L145702GV

03L145702GX

03L145721B

03L145721BV

03L145721BV100

03L145721BX

03L145721BY

804888-5003S

818987-5001S

Exchange basis and warranty for this Audi A6 turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of your old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Before fitting, check the oil circuit (feed and return hoses, no blockages), the cleanliness of the boost hoses, and the condition of the air intake. When starting up for the first time, prime the turbo with oil before running the engine, to ensure the bearings are lubricated immediately and to avoid any dry running.

This same turbo also fits

New Audi A4 Turbo – Ref. 818987-5001S

New Audi A5 Turbo – Ref. 818987-5001S

New Audi Q5 Turbo – Ref. 818987-5001S

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_d2ca20fa-d380-4527-bbd3-d5fdab72d2c9.png?v=1790811884
