Excessive oil consumption or oil in the intake circuit are also common warning signs on this vehicle, and both call for a prompt inspection of the turbocharger before any further damage occurs.

A new turbo designed for the Lodgy 1.5 dCi 90

This new turbo is compatible with reference 16359880051 and is intended for Dacia Lodgy models fitted with the 1.5 dCi 90 engine – a 1461 cm³ diesel identified by engine codes K9K626 and K9K628. Before placing an order, it is essential to check the reference printed on your old turbo or on the engine plate, as certain variants of the K9K fitted to the Lodgy may carry closely related but distinct references.

Exchange basis and warranty for this Lodgy turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new part has been delivered and fitted, so your Lodgy is not left off the road during the process. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Fitting advice for the 1.5 dCi 90

On the K9K engine, premature turbo failure is most commonly caused by insufficient lubrication – whether due to an unsuitable oil grade, missed oil changes, or a clogged air filter allowing contaminants through. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses and air intake, and the intercooler for any leaks. Prime the turbo with oil before the first start-up to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings and to maximise the service life of the part.

This same turbo also fits

New Dacia Duster Turbo – Ref. 16359880051

New Dacia Sandero Turbo – Ref. 16359880051

New Mercedes Citan Turbo – Ref. 16359880051

New Nissan Micra Turbo – Ref. 16359880051

New Nissan Note Turbo – Ref. 16359880051

New Renault Captur Turbo – Ref. 16359880051

New Renault Clio Turbo – Ref. 16359880051

New Renault Kangoo Turbo – Ref. 16359880051

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_eddde382-913a-49d9-ba46-29805cd2a7a1.png?v=1790811120
