turbo-ford-transit-neuf-714467-5015s
New Ford Transit Turbo – Ref. 714467-5015S

Why the turbo on the Ford Transit 2.0 TDCi 125 fails

On the Ford Transit fitted with the FIFA engine in 2.0 TDCi 125, the variable-geometry turbo is put under considerable strain by frequent stop-start driving, short urban delivery runs and prolonged idling typical of commercial vehicle use. These conditions promote soot build-up in the vane adjustment mechanism, which gradually seizes the variable geometry and degrades engine response. Inadequate lubrication caused by neglected oil changes, non-compliant oil or a blocked oil filter accelerates bearing wear and can cause abnormal play in the turbo shaft — a sure sign of imminent complete failure.

New turbo for Ford Transit 2.0 TDCi 125 – compatibility

This new turbo is compatible with reference 714467-5015S, intended for Ford Transit vehicles fitted with the 2.0 TDCi 125 diesel engine (engine code FIFA). Before placing your order, please check the reference on the label of your original turbo or on the identification plate, as certain engine variants may use closely related turbo versions.

Equivalent references

1132648

1146030

1202122

1219649

1256751

1319518

1338613

1348169

1358492

1383646

1435150

1789089

2S7Q-6K682-AJ

2S7Q6K682AC

2S7Q6K682AD

2S7Q6K682AE

2S7Q6K682AF

2S7Q6K682AG

3S7Q-6K682-AB

3S7Q-6K682-AC

3S7Q-6K682-AE

3S7Q-6K682-AF

3S7Q6K682AD

714467-5015S

752233-5009S

C2S36491

JDE1824

JDE4197

JDE4206

JDE4489

JDE4957

JDE4957E

Exchange basis and warranty for your Transit

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of your old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Prime the turbo with fresh oil before the first start-up to ensure immediate bearing lubrication. Always replace the oil filter and check the quality of the engine oil used, as these factors are critical to the longevity of the turbo on this engine.

Payment for your order can be spread over several instalments — pay in up to 10 instalments — to help manage your maintenance budget.

This same turbo also fits

New Ford Mondeo Turbo – Ref. 714467-5015S

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_c7254003-e9d3-4534-8e2c-658484a93876.png?v=1790812142
