A visual check of the shaft's axial and radial play, an inspection of the air hoses for cracks, and a check of the oil pressure and oil filter condition will help rule out secondary causes. On the 1.5 CRDi engine fitted to the Accent, a loss of power, persistent blue or black exhaust smoke, an unusual whistling noise under acceleration, or an illuminated engine warning light are all signs that should prompt attention before considering a full replacement.

Overview of the turbo compatible with reference 740611-5002W

This new turbo is compatible with reference 740611-5002W and fits Hyundai Accent models equipped with the 1.5 CRDi 110 engine, identified by engine code D4FA. It provides the air boost required for the diesel engine to run correctly, particularly under load or at higher revs. Before fitting, check that the reference number on your old turbo matches the one stated here, to ensure perfect compatibility with your vehicle.

Equivalent references

28201-2A400

282012A410

57399880002

740611-5002W

782403-5001S

Exchange basis and warranty applicable to this turbo

This turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of the old turbo is required; however, it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Hyundai Accent is not left off the road. A 12-month parts warranty applies, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment for your order can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Tips for extending the life of the turbo on your Accent

The lifespan of a turbocharger depends heavily on the quality of the engine oil and adherence to oil change intervals, as inadequate lubrication is one of the leading causes of premature failure. A clogged air filter or a damaged intercooler can also cause accelerated wear, as can aggressive driving that puts excessive strain on a cold turbo. After fitting, it is recommended to prime the turbo with oil before starting the engine, and to check the condition of the oil circuit, connecting hoses and air intake, to ensure optimal operation from the very first revs.

This same turbo also fits

New Hyundai Click Turbo – Ref. 740611-5002W

New Hyundai Elantra Turbo – Ref. 740611-5002W

New Hyundai Getz Turbo – Ref. 740611-5002W

New Hyundai Lavita Turbo – Ref. 740611-5002W

New Hyundai Matrix Turbo – Ref. 740611-5002W

New Hyundai i30 Turbo – Ref. 740611-5002W

New Kia Ceed Turbo – Ref. 740611-5002W

New Kia Rio Turbo – Ref. 740611-5002W

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_e614dccf-4847-4725-b14d-b9d679d08aa3.png?v=1790811868
