turbo-opel-corsa-neuf-49131-06005
New Opel Corsa Turbo – Ref. 49131-06005

Why does the Opel Corsa 1.7 CDTI turbo fail?

On the Opel Corsa fitted with the Z17DTH engine, the turbocharger is put under particular strain during cold starts and repeated short journeys – conditions that are common for this city car. Insufficient lubrication at start-up, incorrect or overdue engine oil changes, and a clogged air filter are among the most frequent causes of premature wear. A blocked intercooler or a driving style involving sudden high-rev bursts without allowing the engine to return to idle will also accelerate deterioration of the bearings and turbine shaft.

Compatibility with your Opel Corsa

This new turbo is compatible with reference 49131-06005, designed for 1.7 CDTI engines producing 100 and 101 hp, with an engine capacity of 1686 cm³, corresponding to engine code Z17DTH. Before placing an order, it is strongly recommended that you check the reference printed on the label of your old turbo to confirm exact compatibility with your vehicle.

Equivalent references

00860070

00860128

00860147

0860070

0860128

0860147

237187

49131-06005

49131-06007

57409880200

57409900200

860070

860128

860147

8973000921

8973000923

8973000924

8973000925

8973000926

8981023640

9008042

93169104

93169110

9508178

95518569

97300092

9730092

98102364

R1630029

Exchange basis and warranty for your Corsa turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required. Prime the turbo with oil before the first start-up to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings. Once running, check for any leaks and monitor the engine's behaviour during the first few journeys in your Corsa.

This same turbo also fits

New Opel Astra Turbo – Ref. 49131-06005

New Opel Meriva Turbo – Ref. 49131-06005

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_dc11ea1b-0e3d-4d0b-8448-2a188aae8fe1.png?v=1790813548
