The diesel engines fitted to this model can also suffer from a seized variable geometry mechanism over time, causing hesitation or the engine going into limp mode under hard acceleration. An air leak noise from the turbo side, abnormal oil consumption, or blue or black exhaust smoke are all warning signs that should be addressed before the problem gets worse.

A new turbo designed for the Audi A3 1.9 TDI

This new turbo is compatible with reference 454232-5001S, intended for Audi A3 1.9 TDI 110 engines with engine codes AUY and ATD, with an engine capacity of 1896 cm³ running on diesel. Also check the air intake and ensure there are no debris in the inlet ducts. When starting the engine for the first time, prime the turbo with oil to ensure the bearings are immediately lubricated before the first rev. An oil change using a suitable quality oil, along with regular maintenance of the emissions system, will help extend the life of your new turbo.

Flexible payment

Payment for your new Audi A3 turbo can be spread over several instalments – pay in up to 10 instalments to make your purchase easier.

This same turbo also fits

New Skoda Octavia Turbo – Ref. 454232-5001S

New Volkswagen Golf Turbo – Ref. 454232-5001S

New Volkswagen New Beetle Turbo – Ref. 454232-5001S

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_831da6fb-5516-44d2-882f-e1163eb7aaa1.png?v=1790811885
