turbo-bmw-serie-3-neuf-9vb01
New BMW Série 3 Turbo – Ref. 9VB01

What a new turbo does for your BMW Série 3 316d or 318d

Behind the wheel, the difference is felt from the very first turn: sharper throttle response, smooth and immediate power delivery, no more high-pitched whistling or blue smoke under acceleration, and an engine that no longer artificially limits itself in limp-home mode. On a BMW Série 3 fitted with the N47N diesel engine, a turbo in good condition restores the responsiveness this unit is known for, whether in town or pushing on at speed on the open road.

Compatibility with BMW Série 3 engines

This new turbo is compatible with reference 9VB01 and fits the BMW Série 3 316 d 116 ch and 318 d 143 ch in particular, equipped with the N47 D20 C (N47N) engine, a 1995 cm3 diesel unit. Before ordering, we strongly recommend checking the exact reference printed on the old turbo once removed, as production changes can mean several variants exist on the same model.

Equivalent references

11002220833

11657812321

11658506722

1165851237907

11658513122

11658513123

11658513124

11658518204

1165851820402

11658518205

7812321

781232102

781232103

781232104

8506722

851237907

8513122

8513123

8518204

8518205

9VB01

Exchange basis and warranty for this BMW Série 3 turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your BMW Série 3 is not left off the road during the process. The part is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, provided fitting is carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Fitting advice for the N47N engine

On this diesel unit, turbo longevity depends greatly on the quality and frequency of oil changes, the condition of the air filter, and keeping the intake free from contamination. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit, the cleanliness of the boost hoses, and ensure there are no carbon deposits in the heat exchanger or intercooler that could contaminate the new part. Always prime the turbo with oil before the first start-up to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings and prevent premature seizure.

This same turbo also fits

New BMW Série 1 Turbo – Ref. 9VB01

New BMW Série 2 Turbo – Ref. 9VB01

New BMW Série 4 Turbo – Ref. 9VB01

New BMW X1 Turbo – Ref. 9VB01

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_cd1c7a04-540c-4daa-9973-845a02dee25e.png?v=1790812929
