turbo-bmw-serie-5-neuf-777853-5013s
New BMW Série 5 Turbo – Ref. 777853-5013S

What changes behind the wheel of a BMW Série 5 with a new turbo

On a BMW Série 5 fitted with a six-cylinder diesel engine, the difference a new, properly functioning turbo makes is felt from the very first miles: throttle response becomes linear again, with none of the flat spot under acceleration or the characteristic whine of a worn turbine. Low-rev torque returns, the car regains its ability to pull cleanly on the motorway or when overtaking, and any smoke that was appearing at the exhaust disappears. For a vehicle regularly used on long journeys, consistent boost delivery is essential both for driving comfort and for engine longevity.

Compatibility of the new turbo for BMW Série 5

This new turbo is compatible with reference 777853-5013S and fits in particular the 525d and 530d engines, powered by 2993 cm³ diesel units identified by engine codes N57D30, N57 D30 A or M57 D30. Before placing an order, it is recommended that you check the exact reference printed on the old turbo or on the engine plate of the vehicle, as certain versions of the Série 5 may take closely related turbos depending on the year and trim level.

Equivalent references

11652414331

11657799758

11657799758F06

11657799758G07

11657799759

11657799759F06

11657799759G07

2414331

777853-5013S

7799758

7799758F06

7799758G07

7799759

7799759F06

7799759G07

Exchange basis and warranty on this turbo

This new turbo for the BMW Série 5 is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so that the vehicle is not left off the road. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, provided fitting is carried out by a professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Advice before and after fitting the turbo

On N57D30 and M57D30 engines, premature turbo failure is most commonly caused by inadequate lubrication — whether due to unsuitable oil grade, missed oil changes, or a clogged air filter disrupting the air intake. Before fitting the new turbo, the oil circuit, hose condition, air intake and intercooler should all be checked to rule out any residual contamination. At start-up, priming the turbo with oil before the first start is essential to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings from the very first engine revolutions.

This same turbo also fits

New BMW Série 3 Turbo – Ref. 777853-5013S

New BMW Série 7 Turbo – Ref. 777853-5013S

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_493f7f70-8e23-489d-88bb-d37ef541303f.png?v=1790812890
