turbo-bmw-x6-neuf-49131-07355
New BMW X6 Turbo – Ref. 49131-07355

Identifying the correct turbo for your BMW X6

Before placing an order, it is essential to check the exact reference number stamped on your existing BMW X6 turbo, as this model was fitted with several different turbochargers depending on position (front or rear) and variant. The new turbo listed here is compatible with reference 49131-07355, which fits the rear position (cylinders 4 to 6) of the twin-turbo engine. Always compare the number engraved on the housing of your original unit with the references listed below before confirming your purchase.

Compatibility with the BMW X6 xDrive35i

This new turbo is compatible with the BMW X6 fitted with the xDrive35i engine – a 2979 cm³ petrol unit with a 6-cylinder in-line layout and twin turbochargers, bearing engine code N54B30. This twin-turbo engine was designed to minimise throttle response lag whilst maintaining a refined driving experience, which places considerable demands on both turbines running in parallel. Always check the reference on your old turbo before ordering, as the two turbos on the X6 are not interchangeable.

Equivalent references

11654565466

11657563704

11657563714

11657593021

1165759302104

11657593023

1165759302304

11657649295

11657649297

49131-07017

49131-07018

49131-07076

49131-07077

49131-07355

7563704

7563704.03

7563704C03

7563714

7563714.01

7563714B02

7593021

759302104

7593021A01

7593021B02

7593021B03

7593023

759302304

7593023B02

7593023B03

7649295

7649297

Exchange basis and warranty

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of your old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your BMW X6 is not left off the road during the process. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Advice before fitting

On an N54B30 twin-turbo engine, turbo failure is often caused by insufficient lubrication, poor-quality engine oil or overdue oil changes, a clogged air filter, or a habit of revving the engine hard when cold. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses, and the cleanliness of the air intake. When starting up for the first time, prime the oil circuit before the initial start to protect the turbine bearings.

This turbo also fits

New BMW Série 3 Turbo – Ref. 49131-07355

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_6b667597-fe17-43cd-80d6-65d357e24011.png?v=1790813552
