This new turbo is compatible with reference 49172-03000, which is found on certain Citroën C3 models fitted with a 1.6 BlueHDi engine. Comparing the reference physically marked on your original turbo housing with this number remains the most reliable way to ensure a perfect fit before you buy.

Compatible engines on the C3

On the Citroën C3, this turbo fits the 1.6 BlueHDi 75 hp and 1.6 BlueHDi 100 hp engines, with a 1560 cm3 diesel capacity. The associated engine codes include B16DT, B16DTL, BHS, BHV, BHW, BHY, 9HK and 9HN. Cross-checking the engine code stamped on your block against the turbo reference eliminates any risk of fitting the wrong part.

Equivalent references

15070220793

1611139180

1873215

2141951

3642414

49172-03000

95525950

9804945280

9842096580

FM5Q6K682BA

RMFM5Q6K682BA

SU001A3861

SU001B4729

Exchange basis and warranty

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: your old turbo must be returned in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, but it is only collected after the new part has been delivered and fitted, so your C3 is never left off the road. The turbo comes with a 12-month parts warranty, provided fitting is carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over up to 10 instalments.

Advice before and after fitting

Premature turbo failure on these 1.6 BlueHDi engines is often caused by poor lubrication — typically the wrong grade of oil, missed oil changes, or a clogged air filter. Before fitting, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses, and the cleanliness of the air intake and intercooler. On first start-up, prime the turbo with oil to prevent it running dry, which will help protect the longevity of the new part fitted to your Citroën C3.

This same turbo also fits

New Citroën C4 Turbo – Ref. 49172-03000

New Peugeot 208 Turbo – Ref. 49172-03000

New Peugeot 308 Turbo – Ref. 49172-03000

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_a4658cfb-fbe3-452e-918a-1e09c566e315.png?v=1790813518
