turbo-jeep-compass-neuf-54389880026
New Turbo Jeep Compass – Ref. 54389880026

What a good turbo does for your Jeep Compass

On a Jeep Compass fitted with the 1.6 MultiJet engine, a turbo in perfect working order makes itself felt immediately: crisper throttle response from low revs, smooth torque delivery around 1750 rpm, and no smoke or whistling under acceleration. Conversely, a worn turbo typically shows up as a gradual loss of power, blue or black exhaust smoke, excessive oil consumption, or an unusual whistling noise from under the bonnet. Replacing the faulty unit with a new turbo compatible with reference 54389880026 restores your compact SUV to its original performance.

Compatibility of the new turbo with the Jeep Compass 1.6 MultiJet

This new turbo is compatible with the 1.6 MultiJet 105 and 1.6 MultiJet 120 engines fitted to the Jeep Compass, associated with engine code EJJ. Before ordering, always check the reference on your old turbo or on the engine plate of your vehicle, as several variants exist depending on the version and production period of the Compass.

Equivalent references

00K68275206AA

00K68303438AA

00K68446425AA

13900-55P00

13900-55P01

13900-62M00

13900-62M01

46339846

54389880026

55263023

55266228

71796386

71796387

71796389

71796858

71797093

95521388

95528359

95528360

95530004

95530007

K68275206AA

K68303438AA

K68446425AA

Exchange basis and warranty on this new turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over up to 10 instalments.

Advice before fitting the turbo to your Compass

On the 1.6 MultiJet engine, premature turbo failure is most commonly caused by insufficient lubrication, poor-quality engine oil or missed oil changes, a clogged air filter, or a cracked intercooler allowing contaminants through. Revving the engine hard immediately after a cold start, or switching the engine off straight after a hard run, also accelerates wear. Before fitting, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses, and the cleanliness of the air intake. When starting up for the first time, prime the turbo with oil before the initial start to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings.

This same turbo also fits

New Turbo Alfa Romeo Giulietta – Ref. 54389880026

New Turbo Fiat Bravo – Ref. 54389880026

New Turbo Fiat Doblo – Ref. 54389880026

New Turbo Suzuki Vitara – Ref. 54389880026

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_cfd7b0fe-ff5c-4a55-8b76-624206c69935.png?v=1790810569
