AL0067

Before replacing the turbo on your Mercedes CLA: the diagnostic approach

On a Mercedes CLA fitted with the 1.6 petrol engine M 270.910, a failing turbo often shows itself as a loss of power under acceleration, blue or black smoke from the exhaust, an unusual whistling noise under the bonnet, or the engine warning light coming on. Before placing any order, it is recommended that you have the boost pressure checked, the hoses inspected for leaks, and the turbo shaft checked for excessive play, as these symptoms can also be caused by a split hose or a faulty sensor. This diagnostic process confirms that the turbo is genuinely at fault before proceeding with replacement.

New turbo compatible with reference AL0067 for the CLA

This new turbo is compatible with reference AL0067, intended for Mercedes CLA models fitted with the 1.6 petrol engine M 270.910, found in particular on the CLA 180 and CLA 200 variants. Before confirming your order, always check the reference printed on the old turbo or on the vehicle's identification plate, as several turbo variants may exist depending on power output and trim level.

Equivalent references

14411HG00L

2700900080

270090008080

2700900980

270090098080

2700902280

270090228080

2700902780

270090278080

9V104

A2700900080

A270090008080

A2700900980

A270090098080

A2700902280

A270090228080

A2700902780

A270090278080

AL0067

Exchange basis and warranty for this CLA turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: the old turbo must be returned in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your CLA is not left off the road. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit, the intake hoses and the air intake for any contamination. Priming with oil before the first start-up is essential to ensure immediate lubrication of the turbo bearings.

This same turbo also fits

New Mercedes Classe A Turbo – Ref.
