A visual check of the shaft's axial and radial play, an inspection of the vane condition, a check of the oil pressure and an exhaust smoke test (blue smoke indicates an oil leak; black smoke indicates excessive fuel consumption) will help rule out other possible faults, such as a cracked intercooler pipe, a clogged EGR valve or a faulty pressure sensor. On this model, a sharp whistling noise under acceleration, a gradual loss of power or unusual exhaust smoke are symptoms commonly associated with turbo wear.

New turbo for Renault Scénic 1.9 dCi F9Q

This new turbo is compatible with reference 751768-5005S and has been designed to fit the Renault Scénic 1.9 dCi 102 hp and 105 hp, a 1870 cm³ diesel engine with engine codes F9Q 732, F9Q 733, F9Q 738 and F9Q 740. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit (hoses, return pipe), the cleanliness of the intercooler and the absence of any air leaks. On first start-up, prime the oil circuit before starting the engine, then allow it to idle for a few moments before putting it under any load, in order to protect the longevity of the new turbo.

This same turbo also fits

New Opel Vivaro Turbo – Ref. 751768-5005S

New Renault Laguna Turbo – Ref. 751768-5005S

New Renault Master Turbo – Ref. 751768-5005S

New Renault Mégane Turbo – Ref. 751768-5005S

New Renault Trafic Turbo – Ref. 751768-5005S

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_6cdb63fe-cbfa-4782-85bc-0c91a1067d0c.png?v=1790811355
