Checking the engine oil level and quality, visually inspecting the intake and exhaust hoses for leaks, and verifying that the exhaust gas recirculation valve is working correctly will often rule out other causes of power loss or smoke. A diagnostic tool can also read fault codes related to boost pressure to guide the diagnosis before you order the part.

About the new turbo for the SEAT Altea

This new turbo is compatible with reference 785448-5005S and fits the SEAT Altea with the 2.0 TDI 170 engine, associated with engine codes CFFA and CFFB. This 1968 cm³ diesel version long represented the top of the TDI engine range offered on this model, delivering a strong balance between performance and fuel economy.

Compatibility and reference check

Before placing an order, we recommend checking the reference printed on your existing SEAT Altea turbo to make sure it matches one of the references listed below. Before fitting, check the oil circuit, the intake hoses and the air intake to prevent contamination of the new turbo. On first start-up, remember to prime the oil circuit to ensure immediate lubrication of the turbocharger.

This same turbo also fits

New Audi A3 Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Audi TT Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New SEAT Leon Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Skoda Octavia Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Skoda Superb Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Skoda Yeti Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Golf Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Passat Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Sharan Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Tiguan Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Touran Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_24f05bbe-32ba-40ac-bfe6-5f2a16d79253.png?v=1790811889
