turbo-seat-ibiza-neuf-733783-5008s
New SEAT Ibiza Turbo – Ref. 733783-5008S

Why the turbo on the SEAT Ibiza 1.4 TDI weakens with age

On the SEAT Ibiza fitted with the 1.4 TDI engine, the turbocharger operates in a demanding environment: small engine capacity, heavy use in both urban and motorway driving, and lubrication that depends directly on the cleanliness of the engine oil. Infrequent oil changes, oil that does not meet manufacturer specifications, or a clogged oil filter all accelerate premature wear of the bearings and rotor. A blocked air filter or a damaged intercooler will also disrupt intake pressure and hasten turbine fatigue. Driving habits that combine hard acceleration with immediately switching off the engine — without allowing a cooling-down period — also wear the turbo's internal components.

Compatibility of the new turbo with the SEAT Ibiza 1.4 TDI

This new turbo is compatible with reference 733783-5008S, designed for the SEAT Ibiza 1.4 TDI 70 CV and 1.4 TDI 80 CV, with an engine capacity of 1422 cm3, covering diesel engines identified by the codes AMF, BAY, BHC, BMS, BNM, BNV and BWB. Before placing an order, we recommend checking the reference marked on the old turbo as well as the engine code on the block, to confirm exact compatibility with your vehicle.

Exchange basis and warranty for this SEAT Ibiza turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required, but it is only requested after delivery and fitting of the new part, so your SEAT Ibiza is not left off the road. A 12-month parts warranty applies, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Fitting advice for the 1.4 TDI engine

Before fitting this turbo to your SEAT Ibiza, check the condition of the oil circuit, the cleanliness of the hoses, and that there are no leaks or blockages at the air intake. Pre-lubricating the turbo with oil before the first start-up ensures the bearings are lubricated from the moment the engine fires and prevents dry running. After fitting, checking the air filter and intercooler is advisable to preserve the longevity of the new turbocharger.

This same turbo also fits

New Audi A2 Turbo – Ref. 733783-5008S

New SEAT Cordoba Turbo – Ref. 733783-5008S

New Skoda Fabia Turbo – Ref. 733783-5008S

New Skoda Roomster Turbo – Ref. 733783-5008S

New Volkswagen Fox Turbo – Ref. 733783-5008S

New Volkswagen Polo Turbo – Ref. 733783-5008S

New Volkswagen Lupo Turbo – Ref. 733783-5008S

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_5a19cccd-173d-461f-95f5-d3b021010473.png?v=1790811842
