Insufficient lubrication, low-quality engine oil or missed oil changes are among the most common causes of premature damage to the turbine and turbo shaft. A clogged air filter or a faulty intercooler can also accelerate wear, as can aggressive driving at high revs before the oil has reached its operating temperature.

Compatibility of the new turbo for the Grand Vitara

This new turbo is compatible with reference 760680-5006S and fits the Suzuki Grand Vitara with the 1.9 DDiS 129 diesel engine, 1870 cm³, engine code F9Q. On first start-up, prime the turbo with oil to ensure the bearings are lubricated immediately when the engine fires.
