turbo-volkswagen-passat-neuf-785448-5005s
New Volkswagen Passat Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

Restore the full power of your Passat 2.0 TDI 170

On a Volkswagen Passat fitted with the 2.0 TDI 170, a turbo in good condition makes itself felt immediately at the wheel: mid-range response becomes crisp again from low revs, the car no longer hesitates under acceleration, and the engine regains its usual torque without judder or suspicious whistling. Conversely, a worn turbo typically shows itself through a gradual loss of power, exhaust smoke, or the engine warning light coming on. Fitting a new turbo gives your Passat back its responsiveness and day-to-day reliability.

Compatibility with the Passat 2.0 TDI engine

This new turbo is compatible with reference 785448-5005S and fits Volkswagen Passat models powered by the 2.0 TDI 170, on units identified by engine codes CFGB, CLLA and CBBB. Before ordering, please check the reference printed on the label of your old turbo or on your vehicle registration document, as some variants may share closely related parts depending on the trim level.

Equivalent references

03L253010E

03L253010EV

03L253010EX

03L253010F

03L253010FU

03L253010FV

03L253010FX

03L253019Q

03L253019QX

785448-5005S

A new turbo sold on an exchange basis

This new turbo for the Passat 2.0 TDI 170 is sold on an exchange basis: your old turbocharger must be returned in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, but it is only collected after the new part has been delivered and fitted, so your vehicle is not left off the road unnecessarily. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments, to make your purchase easier.

Advice before and after fitting

On the 2.0 TDI, premature turbo failure is most commonly caused by insufficient lubrication, poor-quality oil or missed oil changes, but also by a clogged air filter or a cracked intercooler allowing contaminants to reach the turbine. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses and the cleanliness of the air intake to prevent the new part from becoming contaminated quickly. When starting up for the first time, prime the turbo with oil through the feed pipe to ensure immediate lubrication on start-up. Driving smoothly, letting the engine idle for a few moments after a hard run, and checking the oil level regularly will all help to extend the life of your new turbo.

This same turbo also fits

New Audi A3 Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Audi TT Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New SEAT Altea Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New SEAT Leon Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Skoda Octavia Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Skoda Superb Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Skoda Yeti Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Golf Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Sharan Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Tiguan Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Touran Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_b235e4a0-0173-4d9b-b224-9b1d3a0b56c9.png?v=1790811893
