This new turbo is compatible with reference 04L253124A, fitted to certain Tiguan models equipped with the 2.0 TDI 4Motion 190 ch diesel engine, engine code DFHA (variants DDAA and DFCA share the same engine base within the group). Comparing the numbers engraved on the removed unit with the references listed here will help you avoid any compatibility errors, particularly on a model offered with several diesel power outputs.

Engine fitment on the Tiguan

On the Volkswagen Tiguan, this turbocharger is fitted to the 2.0 TDI 4Motion 190 ch engine, a diesel variant valued for its strong torque both on the road and during occasional off-road use, with the four-wheel-drive system placing considerable demands on the drivetrain. The turbo plays a central role in managing boost pressure and engine responsiveness, particularly under the heavy loads typical of this type of family or utility vehicle.

Equivalent references

04L253124A

53039880621

A new turbo on an exchange basis for your Tiguan

This turbo is supplied new, sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required, but it is only collected after the new unit has been delivered and fitted, so your Tiguan remains available throughout the process. A blocked air filter or a damaged intercooler will also disrupt air intake and can quickly damage the new turbo. Before fitting, check the oil circuit (hoses and return line), ensure the air intake is clean, and confirm there are no foreign bodies in the manifold. When starting up, prime the turbo with oil before the first start and avoid hard acceleration during the first few kilometres, to protect the longevity of the part on your Tiguan.

This same turbo also fits

New Audi Q2 Turbo – Ref. 04L253124A

New Audi Q3 Turbo – Ref. 04L253124A

New SEAT Ateca Turbo – Ref. 04L253124A

New Skoda Karoq Turbo – Ref. 04L253124A

New Skoda Superb Turbo – Ref. 04L253124A

New Volkswagen Passat Turbo – Ref. 04L253124A

New Volkswagen T-Roc Turbo – Ref. 04L253124A

New Volkswagen Touran Turbo – Ref. 04L253124A

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_7c7db5f6-55fe-4e5b-b5a5-e6f6823c99d9.png?v=1790811098
