turbo-volkswagen-touran-neuf-785448-5005s
New Volkswagen Touran Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

The turbo built for everyday use in the Volkswagen Touran 2.0 TDI

The Volkswagen Touran is a family MPV typically used for a wide variety of journeys: daily commutes, long motorway runs with a full complement of passengers and luggage, and frequent short urban trips throughout the week. This versatility, combined with often significant loads, puts considerable strain on the 2.0 TDI's turbocharger – particularly during repeated acceleration or short journeys that don't allow the engine to reach its optimum operating temperature. This new turbo is designed to restore the vehicle's original performance across all these conditions.

Compatibility with Touran engines

This new turbo is compatible with reference 785448-5005S, intended for Volkswagen Touran models fitted with the 2.0 TDI 170 CV and 2.0 TDI 177 CV engines, associated in particular with engine codes CFFA, CFFB, CFGB, CLLA, CLLB and DLUB. Before placing an order, we recommend checking the reference printed on your old turbo or on your vehicle's engine plate to confirm it matches your Touran exactly.

Equivalent references

03L253010E

03L253010EV

03L253010EX

03L253010F

03L253010FU

03L253010FV

03L253010FX

03L253019Q

03L253019QX

785448-5005S

Exchange basis and warranty for your Touran

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of the old turbo is required. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Touran is off the road for as little time as possible. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, up to 10 instalments.

Wear symptoms to watch for on the Touran 2.0 TDI

On these engines, a failing turbo typically makes itself known through a loss of power under acceleration, blue or black exhaust smoke, an unusual whistling noise, or excessive oil consumption. These symptoms are often caused by insufficient lubrication, the use of incorrect or neglected engine oil, a clogged air filter, or an aggressive driving style that places excessive demands on the unit.

Fitting advice for a lasting installation

Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit (feed and return lines), the condition of the intake hoses, and the cleanliness of the air intake to prevent premature contamination. When starting up for the first time, prime the turbo with oil before the initial engine start to ensure the bearings are lubricated immediately from the very first revolutions.

This same turbo also fits

New Audi A3 Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Audi TT Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New SEAT Altea Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New SEAT Leon Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Skoda Octavia Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Skoda Superb Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Skoda Yeti Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Golf Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Passat Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Sharan Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

New Volkswagen Tiguan Turbo – Ref. 785448-5005S

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_11aadd91-9d7a-4394-9e30-07b6965516a0.png?v=1790811895
