RNX

Reconditioned Audi Q5 2.0 TDI Gearbox – Reference RNX

This reconditioned gearbox for the Audi Q5 2.0 TDI, with an engine capacity of 1968 cm³, corresponds to reference RNX and is compatible with units identified by engine codes CAHA, CAHB, CGLB, CMGA, CNHA and CNHC. The reconditioning process involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs that your manual gearbox needs replacing

On a Q5 fitted with this 6-speed manual gearbox, several warning signs should not be ignored: increasingly stiff gear changes, a crunching noise when downshifting into second or fifth, unusual vibrations felt through the gear lever, growing difficulty selecting neutral, or an oil leak visible beneath the casing. These symptoms point to advanced internal wear and warrant a full gearbox replacement rather than a one-off repair.

Exchange basis: the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched before your old unit is collected

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned gearbox reference RNX is sent to you first. Your old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected once the new unit has been delivered and fitted — meaning the garage is never left without a gearbox and the vehicle does not need to sit on the ramp. Return of the old unit is nonetheless required, in accordance with the applicable Terms and Conditions.

Compatibility

This reconditioned gearbox RNX is compatible with Audi Q5 2.0 TDI engines fitted with engine codes CAHA, CAHB, CGLB, CMGA, CNHA and CNHC. We recommend verifying the exact match with the engine code shown on your vehicle's identification plate before placing an order.

Warranty and payment options

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, valid provided fitting is carried out by a qualified professional. You can spread the cost of your order by paying in instalments — up to 10 instalments — to suit your needs.

EDEN BOITES supports you every step of the way, from your initial quote through to collection of the old unit.
