B47D20A

This reconditioned BMW Série 1 2.0d engine, referenced B47D20A, is intended for vehicles whose original block shows advanced internal wear or mechanical failure. With an engine capacity of 1995 cm³, this four-cylinder diesel engine is fitted to several models in the BMW range, including the Série 1. Reconditioning involves a complete strip-down of the block, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of internal wear parts as required, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and a bench test prior to dispatch.

A tired engine typically makes itself known through a loss of power, abnormal exhaust smoke, metallic noises at idle, or excessive oil consumption. These warning signs should prompt a professional to act before further damage is caused to other components. This engine is supplied bare; the exact details of what is included (turbo, injectors, manifolds or other ancillaries depending on the reference) are specified on the quote, which is the sole binding document.

Exchange Basis – Rebuilt to 0 km

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned engine is dispatched first so that the vehicle is not left off the road. The old block, with its casing intact, is only collected after the EDEN BOITES engine has been delivered and fitted; return of the old unit is required in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. A deposit is taken at the time of ordering – no amount is stated here – and is refunded once the reconditioned engine has been delivered, fitted, and the old unit has been returned and received.

This engine is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional.
