These symptoms are common on this 2.0-litre diesel, which is put under considerable strain in SUV use, and should not be ignored before further damage is caused to other components in the air or lubrication circuit.

Compatibility of the reconditioned turbo with the BMW X3

This reconditioned turbo is compatible with reference 49335-00500, intended for the BMW X3 20d (engine code N47D20C, engine capacity 1995 cm3, Diesel). Before placing an order, it is strongly recommended that you check the reference marked on your old turbo to confirm an exact match with your vehicle, as different versions and revisions of the X3 may have been fitted with several turbocharger variants.

Equivalent references

11655A3B051

11657808758

1165780875801

1165780875802

1165780875802B

11658506721

11658512464

11658512465

11658515187

11658515188

11658519477

1165851947706

49335-00500

5A3B051

7808758

780875801

780875802

780875802B

8506721

8512464

851246403

851246404

851246405

851246405E

8512465

8515187

851518701

851518701A

851518702

8515188

8519477

851947703

851947705

851947706

Exchange basis and warranty for this BMW X3 turbo

This reconditioned turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of your old turbo is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your BMW X3 is never left off the road. The part comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional.

Fitting advice to protect your turbo

Before fitting the reconditioned turbo to your BMW X3, check the oil circuit, the feed and return hoses, the air intake and the intercooler, as any blockage or leak can cause rapid failure of the new unit. A full oil change using a suitable quality oil, replacement of the air filter, and oil priming before the first start-up are all essential for a reliable run-in. Avoiding high revs immediately after a cold start will also help prevent premature turbo wear.

This same turbo also fits

Reconditioned BMW Série 3 Turbo – Ref. 49335-00500

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_3faab512-f250-42b7-a636-cbc7a5a57649.png?v=1790814122
