VVP1

Diagnosing the turbo on your Peugeot Partner before replacement

Before considering a turbocharger replacement on your Peugeot Partner, a thorough diagnosis is essential. A light commercial vehicle like the Partner, frequently used in professional settings with heavy loads and repeated journeys, can suffer from premature turbo wear. Start by checking for blue or black exhaust smoke, an unusual whistling noise under acceleration, a gradual loss of power, or an illuminated engine warning light. Then inspect the turbine shaft for play, check the condition of the air hoses, and look for any oil deposits in the intake circuit. These checks will confirm whether the fault lies with the turbo itself or with another component in the air or boost circuit.

Reconditioned turbo for Peugeot Partner 2.0 HDi 90

This reconditioned turbo is compatible with reference VVP1 and fits the Peugeot Partner equipped with the 2.0 HDi 90 engine, corresponding to engine code RHY (DW10TD). Before fitting, check the oil circuit (feed and return hoses), ensure there is no build-up of deposits in the ducts, and make sure the air intake is clean. When starting the engine for the first time after fitting, prime the turbo by pouring a little fresh oil into the feed port before reconnecting the hose, then allow the engine to idle for a few moments before putting it under load.

This same turbo also fits

Reconditioned Citroën Berlingo Turbo – Ref.
