M9R_650

This reconditioned Renault Espace 2.0 dCi engine corresponds to reference M9R_650, a diesel unit fitted to the Espace on this generation. Reconditioning involves fully stripping the engine, cleaning and inspecting every component, replacing internal wear parts according to their condition, then reassembling everything to manufacturer tolerances before a full bench test. The exact details of the parts replaced or supplied with this M9R_650 engine are specified on the quote, as they may vary depending on the condition of the original unit.

Signs that the engine needs replacing

Abnormal oil consumption, a gradual loss of power, exhaust smoke, metallic noises at idle, or a recurring engine warning light are all signs that the engine block on a Renault Espace fitted with the M9R_650 may be severely worn. In such cases, fitting a reconditioned engine restores reliable performance without the often very high cost of a brand-new unit.

Exchange basis: the old unit collected after delivery

This Renault Espace M9R_650 engine is offered on an exchange basis, rebuilt to 0 km. In practice, the reconditioned engine is delivered first so that the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is off the road for as short a time as possible. The old engine – sump or block intact – is only collected after the reconditioned engine has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. A deposit is taken as part of this exchange; it is refunded once the engine has been delivered, fitted, and the old unit returned and received.

Warranty and payment

This reconditioned M9R_650 engine is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional.
