TLM

This SEAT Ibiza 1.6 TDI gearbox is fully reconditioned to restore original performance. Reference TLM is a 5-speed manual gearbox fitted to the 1598 cm³ diesel engine. Reconditioning involves a complete strip-down of the TLM gearbox, followed by thorough cleaning and meticulous inspection of every component. Wear parts such as gears, synchromesh rings, bearings and seals are replaced as standard; the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs That Your Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a SEAT Ibiza 1.6 TDI fitted with the TLM gearbox, several warning signs should not be ignored: stiff or crunching gear changes, juddering on engagement, a rumbling noise or whine while driving, or an oil leak from the casing. These symptoms typically indicate internal wear to the synchromesh rings or bearings and should be addressed before the fault worsens.

Exchange Basis – Your Vehicle Stays on the Road

With our exchange range, the reconditioned TLM gearbox is dispatched first, without waiting for your old unit to be returned.
