BLS

Reconditioned SEAT Ibiza 1.9 TDI Engine – Ref. BLS

This reconditioned engine for the SEAT Ibiza, fitted with the 1.9 TDI block of 1896 cm³, is designed to give your powertrain a second lease of life without the cost of a brand-new unit at manufacturer prices. The reference BLS precisely identifies this diesel block as fitted to the SEAT Ibiza and several other models within the group. As a reconditioned unit, this engine is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected; worn internal components are replaced according to their condition, then it is reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. The exact details of the parts replaced and supplied with this BLS engine are set out in the quote.

Signs that this engine needs replacing

Unusual blue or black exhaust smoke, a noticeable loss of power, excessive oil or fuel consumption, metallic knocking at idle, or a permanently illuminated engine warning light are all signs that the internal condition of the 1.9 TDI block should be investigated. Recurring overheating or abnormal oil consumption between services may also indicate advanced wear of internal components, making engine replacement a more sensible choice than a costly and uncertain partial repair.

Exchange basis: your garage is never without a part

With our exchange range, the reconditioned engine is dispatched first, before the old unit is collected. This means the trade customer is never left without a part and avoids prolonged vehicle downtime. The old engine block, with its sump intact, is only collected after the reconditioned BLS engine has been delivered and fitted; return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and payment

This reconditioned engine is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

This engine is supplied as a bare engine; the exact details of the parts included with this BLS reference are set out in the quote.

Compatible vehicles (ref.
