KNY

Reconditioned SEAT Leon 2.0 TDI Gearbox – Reference KNY

This reconditioned gearbox for the SEAT Leon 2.0 TDI, with an engine capacity of 1968 cm³, carries reference KNY and is compatible with engine codes BKD, BMM, BMN and CFHC. Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: full strip-down, cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of gears, synchros, bearings and seals as required by wear found, reassembly to manufacturer tolerances, and bench testing before dispatch.

Signs That Your Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a SEAT Leon fitted with the 2.0 TDI, several warning signs point to a worn manual gearbox: increasingly stiff gear changes, grinding when changing down, gears jumping out on the move, unusual vibrations in neutral, a growing bearing noise under load, or an oil leak at the casing. These symptoms warrant a prompt inspection before the problem gets worse.

Exchange Basis: Immediate Delivery, Deferred Return

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned unit is dispatched first, without waiting for the old gearbox to be returned. The garage is therefore never left without a part, and the vehicle is off the road for as short a time as possible. Once the new KNY gearbox has been fitted, the old gearbox – casing intact – must be returned; return of the old unit is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Compatibility

Reference KNY is compatible with engine codes BKD, BMM, BMN and CFHC as fitted to the SEAT Leon 2.0 TDI. Full details of the applicable engine variants are confirmed on the quote before ordering.

Warranty and Payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, valid subject to fitting by a qualified professional.
