It is a 6-speed manual gearbox, fully reconditioned before being returned to service.

Signs that your gearbox needs replacing

Several warning signs point to wear on the Leon 2.0 TSI 6-speed manual gearbox: increasingly stiff gear changes, crunching when downshifting, resistance when engaging reverse, vibrations felt through the gear lever, or a neutral that is difficult to find cleanly. A growing bearing noise while driving – even with the clutch disengaged – should also raise concern, as should unexpected gear jumping.

Exchange basis – ready to fit

This SQV gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: it is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected, with worn gears, synchros, bearings and seals replaced, then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. The reconditioned gearbox is sent out first so that your vehicle is not left off the road: the old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the SQV gearbox has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Compatibility

This reconditioned gearbox is compatible with engines identified by codes CCZB, CULC and CJXA fitted to the SEAT Leon 2.0 TSI. The reference SQV must be verified before ordering to ensure exact compatibility with your vehicle.

Warranty and payment

This gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional.
