Excessive oil consumption or hesitation when the revs climb are also warning signs, as these diesel engines place considerable demands on the turbocharger in everyday driving as well as on the motorway.

Compatibility of the reconditioned turbo for your Leon

This reconditioned turbo is compatible with reference 54399880022, intended for SEAT Leon 1.9 TDI models producing 90 or 105 hp. The engine codes covered are BJB, BKC, BXE, BRU, BXF and BXJ. Before placing an order, we recommend checking this information directly on the label of the old turbo fitted to your vehicle, to ensure the part is a perfect match.

Exchange and warranty for this turbo

This reconditioned turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of your old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted to your Leon, so your vehicle is not left off the road during the process. The part comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional.

Fitting advice for the Leon 1.9 TDI

Before installing the turbo, carefully inspect the oil circuit as well as the oil feed and return hoses, which are a common cause of premature failure on this engine. Also check the condition of the air intake, air filter and intercooler, as these can allow contaminants through that damage the turbo's vanes. A recent oil change using a suitable quality oil will help reduce bearing wear. When starting up for the first time, prime the oil circuit before the initial start to ensure the turbo is lubricated immediately. Your order can be paid in up to 10 instalments.

This same turbo also fits

Reconditioned Audi A3 Turbo – Ref. 54399880022

Reconditioned SEAT Altea Turbo – Ref. 54399880022

Reconditioned SEAT Ibiza Turbo – Ref. 54399880022

Reconditioned SEAT Toledo Turbo – Ref. 54399880022

Reconditioned Skoda Octavia Turbo – Ref. 54399880022

Reconditioned Volkswagen Caddy Turbo – Ref. 54399880022

Reconditioned Volkswagen Golf Turbo – Ref. 54399880022

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_06e59e9a-1fb0-4511-821c-d20bcfce2792.png?v=1790810380
