The DSG 6 dual-clutch gearbox normally delivers fast, smooth gear changes; however, an internal fault can lead to a loss of driving comfort and make gearbox replacement necessary. Reconditioning involves a complete strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. The dual-clutch assembly is supplied new with this gearbox, reference LQV.

Signs That Your DSG 6 Gearbox Needs Replacing

Juddering or jerking during gear changes

Slipping sensation under acceleration

Gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard

Harsh, delayed or erratic gear changes

Gearbox entering limp-home mode

Metallic noise or vibrations felt from underneath the vehicle

Gearbox stuck in a single gear

Exchange Basis: Your Workshop Is Never Left Standing

This DSG 6 gearbox, reference LQV, is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned unit is dispatched to your garage first, without waiting for the old gearbox to be returned.
