This 5-speed manual gearbox is well regarded for its robustness, yet it remains subject to wear over the kilometres.

Reconditioning of the AGK reference follows several stages: full strip-down, thorough cleaning and in-depth inspection of every component, then replacement of internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs that your gearbox needs replacing

Difficult or crunching gear changes, particularly on 3rd or 4th

Cracking or metallic noises when changing gear

Unexpected gear jumping whilst driving

Abnormal vibrations or judder transmitted through the gear lever

Oil leak from the gearbox casing

Exchange basis: your vehicle stays on the road

Under the exchange scheme, the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, so your vehicle is off the road for as short a time as possible.
