On an Eos fitted with a 1.4 TSI, these symptoms often indicate advanced internal wear requiring gearbox replacement.

Exchange gearbox: a reconditioned unit ready to fit

This KWB reference gearbox is reconditioned to a precise process: full strip-down, cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of gears, synchros, bearings and seals as required, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing before dispatch.

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned gearbox is delivered before the old unit is collected: the garage is never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is not kept off the road.
