An unusual noise from the dual-clutch unit or a sensation of slipping under acceleration are also common indicators of internal wear.

Juddering or jerking during gear changes

Automatic gearbox warning light on

Delayed or harsh gear shifts

Sensation of slipping under acceleration

A Gearbox Reconditioned to a Rigorous Standard

This DSG 7 gearbox, reference PML, is reconditioned through a comprehensive process: it is fully stripped down, cleaned and inspected component by component. Any gears, synchros, bearings and seals showing signs of wear are replaced. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and it remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included with this reconditioned gearbox.

Exchange Basis: Delivery Without Downtime

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis. The reconditioned gearbox is delivered first, allowing the garage to carry out the installation without delay.
