KDN

Reconditioned Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI Gearbox – Ref. KDN

This Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI gearbox, reference KDN, has been fully reconditioned to restore performance in line with manufacturer specifications. Compatible with the 1968 cm³ diesel engine with engine code BMM, this 6-speed manual gearbox fits the Golf V 2.0 TDI 140 hp. The reconditioning process involves a complete strip-down of the gearbox, followed by thorough cleaning and careful inspection of every component. Wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced as standard. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch to ensure reliability.

Signs That Your Golf 2.0 TDI Gearbox Needs Replacing

Several symptoms should alert a Golf 2.0 TDI driver: crunching or grinding when changing gear, difficulty engaging a gear, juddering on the drivetrain, unusual vibrations, or gear selection that becomes imprecise or impossible. A dull noise while driving or a smell of burning oil around the casing may also indicate advanced wear of the internal gears or synchros.

Exchange Basis: the Reconditioned Unit Is Dispatched First

As part of this exchange range, the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, without waiting for the old unit to be returned. This means the garage is never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is off the road for as short a time as possible. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the EDEN BOITES unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is nonetheless required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over up to 10 instalments.

Compatible Vehicles (Ref.
