Every reconditioned gearbox is completely stripped, cleaned and inspected part by part; internal wear components such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced as standard. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before final sign-off.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOn a Scirocco fitted with this DSG 6 gearbox referenced LTL, several warning signs should not be ignored: juddering or jerking during gear changes, hesitant or impossible shifts, a gearbox warning light on the dashboard, unusual noises under acceleration or while driving, or a sensation of slipping between gears. These symptoms typically indicate advanced wear of the internal components of the LTL gearbox and warrant prompt replacement to avoid a more costly failure.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis LTL gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic control module, which manages gear changes, is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit; it is therefore not supplied with the gearbox. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new with this gearbox.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe exchange range means you receive your reconditioned LTL gearbox rebuilt to 0 km before you even return the old unit: the garage is never left without a vehicle and the car can be back on the road quickly. The old gearbox, with its casing or block intact, is only collected after the EDEN BOITES gearbox has been delivered and fitted.
