SYT

Reconditioned DSG 6 Gearbox for Volkswagen Tiguan 1.4 TSI

This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is available for Volkswagen Tiguan models fitted with the 1.4 TSI engine (1390 cm³), under reference SYT. Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: the gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected; its gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced; it is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs That Your DSG 6 Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a Tiguan 1.4 TSI fitted with this DSG 6, certain warning signs should not be ignored: pronounced juddering during gear changes, slipping felt under acceleration, shuddering in position D at low speed, the gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard, the vehicle dropping into limp mode, or an unusual metallic noise when pulling away. These symptoms typically indicate advanced internal wear requiring gearbox replacement.

Exchange Basis: Your Reconditioned Unit Is Delivered First

This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: it is delivered and fitted before the old gearbox is collected, so your vehicle is never off the road any longer than necessary. The old unit — whether the casing or the complete assembly — is only collected after the reconditioned gearbox has been delivered and installed. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither supplied nor included in the sale — it is not reconditioned or tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new with this SYT gearbox.

Compatibility

This DSG 6 gearbox, reference SYT, is compatible with Volkswagen Tiguan 1.4 TSI models fitted with engines identified by the codes CAX, CAVA or CTHA. Please check your vehicle's engine code before ordering to confirm an exact match.

Warranty and Payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, valid subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

EDEN BOITES is with you every step of the way, from your initial quote through to collection of the old unit.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/boite-de-vitesse-dsg-echange-standard-eden-boites_34748d6e-a719-4ebd-98ee-ae5f993b6aac.jpg?v=1790805648
