CBAB

Reconditioned Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI Engine – Ref. CBAB

This Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI engine, reference CBAB, is reconditioned to a rigorous process to restore reliable performance. With an engine capacity of 1968 cm³, this diesel unit is fitted to the Tiguan in its 2.0 TDI configuration and is a key component for the vehicle's reliability. The CBAB engine is supplied as a bare engine; the exact details of what is included with this reference are specified on the quote.

Signs That This Engine Needs Replacing

Several symptoms should alert the driver: a noticeable loss of power, abnormal exhaust smoke, excessive oil consumption, unusual mechanical noises at idle or under acceleration, or the engine warning light coming on alongside recurring fault codes. Repeated overheating or internal damage identified during diagnostics also justify a full replacement rather than a partial repair.

Reconditioning and Exchange

The engine is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected down to its smallest components. Worn internal parts are replaced according to their condition, with full details provided on the quote. The engine is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. Under the exchange scheme, the old unit is not collected before delivery: the reconditioned engine is dispatched first, so the garage is never left without a part. The old block, with its sump intact, is only collected after the EDEN BOITES engine has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. A deposit is taken at the time of order and refunded after delivery, fitting, and the return and receipt of the old unit.

Warranty and Payment

This CBAB engine comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over up to 10 instalments.

Compatible Vehicles (Ref.
