MKA

Reconditioned Volkswagen Transporter 2.0 TDI Gearbox – Reference MKA

This reconditioned gearbox for the Volkswagen Transporter 2.0 TDI is compatible with 1968 cm³ engines bearing the engine codes CAAA, CAAB, CAAC, CFCA, CXFA, CXGA, CXHA and DJKA, and is sold under reference MKA. This 6-speed manual gearbox undergoes a full reconditioning process: it is completely stripped down, cleaned and inspected, then its gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced according to the wear found. It is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, ensuring performance identical to a brand-new gearbox.

Signs that your gearbox needs replacing

Several symptoms indicate gearbox wear on a Transporter 2.0 TDI: stiff or jerky gear changes, crunching when changing gear, unusual vibrations while driving, difficulty engaging reverse, oil leaking from the casing, the gearbox jumping into neutral on its own, or juddering under acceleration. These signs warrant a prompt inspection before the gearbox seizes completely and leaves your van stranded.

Exchange basis: delivery does not depend on the return of your old gearbox

This gearbox, rebuilt to 0 km, is supplied on an exchange basis: the reconditioned unit referenced MKA is dispatched first, without waiting for the return of your old unit. This means your vehicle or workshop is never held up waiting for a part during the repair. Once the reconditioned gearbox has been fitted, the old gearbox – casing intact – must be returned; this return is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Compatibility

Reference MKA fits Volkswagen Transporter 2.0 TDI vehicles equipped with engine codes CAAA, CAAB, CAAC, CFCA, CXFA, CXGA, CXHA and DJKA.
