Excessive play in the turbine shaft, increased oil consumption, or hesitation on pick-up are further warning signs that Tiguan owners should not ignore before the problem gets worse.

A new turbo designed for the Tiguan 1.4 TSI

This new turbo is compatible with reference 49180-01275, intended for Volkswagen Tiguan models fitted with the 1.4 TSI 125 petrol engine, with an engine capacity of 1395 cm3. It is important to verify the exact match by checking the reference number on the old turbo before placing an order, as different power outputs and model years may use different components.

Compatible engines and engine codes

This turbo fits the Volkswagen Tiguan with the 1.4 TSI 125 engine, corresponding in particular to engine codes CMBA, CPVA, CXSA, CXSB, CZCA and CZDD. We always recommend confirming this information by consulting the engine plate on the vehicle or the label on the removed old turbo.

Exchange basis and warranty

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of the old turbo is required, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted to the Tiguan, so the vehicle is not left off the road. This turbo comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Fitting advice for the Tiguan 1.4 TSI

Before fitting the new turbo, the oil circuit, lubrication pipes and air intake should be checked to rule out any residual contamination that may have caused the previous failure. Priming the turbo with oil before the first start-up reduces the risk of dry running. On this engine, using the correct oil, adhering to service intervals, keeping the air filter and intercooler in good condition, and avoiding high revs when the engine is cold all directly contribute to the longevity of the new turbo.

This same turbo also fits

New Audi A1 Turbo – Ref. 49180-01275

New Audi A3 Turbo – Ref. 49180-01275

New Volkswagen Passat Turbo – Ref. 49180-01275

New Volkswagen Jetta Turbo – Ref. 49180-01275

New Volkswagen Polo Turbo – Ref. 49180-01275

New Volkswagen Scirocco Turbo – Ref. 49180-01275

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0656/9161/5317/files/turbo-echange-standard_3fcc4a27-0dec-4d31-9429-c26ad1232a26.png?v=1790813531
