What makes the Mazda B2500 so special?
The Mazda B2500 is powered by a 2.5-liter SOHC turbodiesel engine with two power levels: 84 hp, as found on the 2.5 TD PICK-UP 4X4 , or 110 hp, as found on the 2.5 D PLATEAU RIDELLE 4X4.
The B2500 features a five-speed manual gearbox with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. In the latter case, the rear wheels are driven, and all become so when the driver activates the front axle.
The single cab is available in 2WD or 4WD versions, while the extended cab is produced exclusively with two-wheel drive. The Freestyle and double-cab models are equipped with engageable all-wheel drive with off-road reduction. All models feature a limited-slip rear differential for enhanced traction on slippery terrain.
What is Mazda B2500 transmission oil used for?
Transmission oil is fundamental to the smooth operation of the gearbox:
- It lubricates internal gearbox components such as gears, pinions, bearings and clutch plates to prevent friction and optimize fluidity;
- It prevents the transmission system from overheating by dissipating the heat generated by moving parts;
