This is a used gearbox that has been opened up, and all the wearing parts replaced with new, original parts. Whether bearings, sprockets, synchros, seals, etc., each gearbox is literally dissected by our technicians and meticulously reassembled to give it a second life.

Of course, once the work is completed, each box undergoes a battery of tests to guarantee its perfect functioning. Whether it's an air pressure test to prevent leaks, or a bench test on which the gearboxes are put through their paces, when the finished product leaves our workshops, it comes with a 12-month warranty, just like a new gearbox!

Every year, more and more motorists opt for reconditioning, especially when it comes to large mechanical parts (engine or gearbox), because new is often unaffordable, and second-hand for these key parts is more like a game of poker than a long-term investment. Indeed, the mileage of a used gearbox is often uncertain, and as happened to yours when you changed it, the probability that it too will break down remains high, since it has already lived. This would be the worst-case scenario, as you'd have to look again for another gearbox, buy one and pay for a new one at the garage, with all the associated costs such as oil, etc.

All standard exchange sales come with a twelve-month warranty, and are made against the exchange of old material (intact crankcase).

Once we've received and installed the new box, we'll come over when you give us the go-ahead to collect the old material, which must be complete, emptied and secured on the pallet on which ours was delivered.

An invoice, which acts as a warranty certificate, accompanies your gearbox and will be sent to you by e-mail as soon as we receive your order.

Changing a gearbox is a major operation, and nothing should be left to chance. We advise you to be very careful about the origin of the part you are about to install on your vehicle.

We have one of the largest gearbox inventories in Europe, spread across our 7 warehousing centers.

That's why it's rare that we don't have the gearbox you're looking for. Whether it's a used gearbox or a standard exchange gearbox.

Our factory also offers complete reconditioning of your own manual or automatic gearbox. We'll pick it up from your premises (disassembled and secured on a pallet). We'll completely recondition your gearbox and deliver it back to you with a 1-year warranty.

I'm very satisfied, and my 86-year-old mother even more than I am! Her Golf 5 gearbox broke down at the beginning of August, while she was on vacation in France (not a single junkyard open in her area...). Call to Eden Boites, discovered thanks to the Internet, that I didn't know, nor the person who did the replacement. Excellent contact with a very reassuring and friendly salesman, very quick quotation by e-mail (with only the license plate number, I live 450km from my mother). We were warned that it would take some time to check the box before shipping, and yet it was sent 4 days later, including weekends!
