The 4×2 version can reach 193 km/h with an acceleration from 0 to 100 in 10.6 seconds compared to a maximum speed of 188 km/h and an acceleration in 11 seconds for the 4×4 version. In both cases, the TCe 130 FAP is coupled to a BVM6. In diesel, the range is enhanced by a Blue dCi 115 engine of 1,461 cc. The Gearbox Dacia Duster 4×4 is identical to the 4×2, i.e. a BVM6.

The Duster Confort and Duster Prestige see their petrol range extended by the 1,333-cc TCe 150 FAP, which allows the 4×4 transmission to go from a top speed of 198 km/h to 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds, compared with 9.7 seconds on the 4×2 (top speed of 202 km/h). The Blue dCi 95 is not available in these finishes. The Gearbox Duster Prestige or Comfort can therefore be a BVM5 or a BVM6.
