This reconditioned S tronic 7 gearbox is compatible with the Audi A1 fitted with the 1.4 TFSI engine (1390 cm³), for engine codes CAXA, CAVG, CTHG, CZCA and CZEA, under reference MPP. Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: the gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected, then all internal wear parts are replaced – including gears, synchros, bearings and seals. It is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs That Your S tronic 7 Gearbox Needs Replacing

On this dual-clutch gearbox, the following warning signs should not be ignored:

• juddering or jerking during gear changes;
• slipping felt under acceleration;
• automatic gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard;
• harsh or delayed gear shifts;
• shuddering at start-off or at low speed;
• loss of power or jerking during normal driving.

Exclusion: The Mechatronic Unit Is Not Included

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested, it is not supplied or included in the sale and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer during fitting. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included with this gearbox reference MPP.

Exchange Basis: Your Garage Is Never Left Without a Vehicle

This gearbox, reference MPP, is offered as an exchange reconditioned unit rebuilt to 0 km. The reconditioned unit is dispatched first, allowing the garage to proceed with fitting immediately. The old gearbox – casing or block intact – is only collected after delivery and installation of the new unit, so the vehicle is never left off the road. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
