Gearboxes, engines, transfer cases and turbos: the full catalogue, one identification key

This page brings together the entire EDEN BOITES catalogue: gearboxes, engines and transfer cases reconditioned, as well as turbos new or reconditioned, for city cars, saloons, vans and 4x4s. Each listing corresponds to a specific reference, linked to particular models, engine variants and engine codes. It is this match — not the make or engine capacity shown on the registration document — that determines whether a part will fit your vehicle.

Gearboxes: manual, dual-clutch or automated manual

The same car can leave the factory with a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual or an automated transmission depending on power output, year and market. Dual-clutch gearboxes (DSG, S-tronic and equivalents) are supplied with a new dual-clutch but without the mechatronic unit. Automated manual gearboxes (Quickshift, BMP6, SensoDrive, Easytronic…) are supplied without the actuator; the actuator from your old gearbox must be refitted.

Engines: a bare unit, identified by its code

Engines are supplied bare, without the ancillaries from your old unit, which must be transferred across during reassembly. The reliable identifier is the engine code stamped on the block (K9K, M9T, DV6, CAYC and their variants): two engines of the same capacity fitted to two similar models are not necessarily interchangeable.

Turbos: new or reconditioned, identified by their reference

A turbo is identified by its manufacturer reference, which often comes in several equivalent numbers depending on the model and year. Two versions are available: the new turbo, sold outright with nothing to return, and the reconditioned turbo, supplied on an exchange basis. In both cases, the warranty is 12 months, subject to fitting by a professional. A failing turbo often has an underlying cause (lubrication, filtration, air intake): this must be addressed at the time of fitting.

Transfer cases: for four-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive vehicles

On 4x4 and all-wheel-drive vehicles, the transfer case distributes torque between the front and rear axles. Compatibility depends on both the vehicle and the gearbox to which it is coupled: the original reference remains the most reliable way to identify the correct unit.

    Exchange, rebuild or outright sale

Depending on the reference, three supply methods are available. On an exchange basis, you receive an already-reconditioned unit and return your old part. With a rebuild, your own part is reconditioned and returned to you. New turbos are sold outright: nothing to return. The supply method available is shown on each product listing.

    Find the right reference faster

To narrow down the list, browse by make and then by model: each page shows only the references associated with that model and its engine variants. For turbos, the pages organised by engine group together all makes that share the same engine.

    Frequently asked questions

Are your parts compatible with my vehicle?

To get exactly the right part, enter your number plate or request an online quote: our advisers confirm compatibility using your registration document before you order.

    Are your reconditioned parts guaranteed?

Yes. Every original part is rebuilt in our workshop, bench-tested and guaranteed for up to 24 months. A reliable and far more affordable alternative to new.

How does the exchange system work?

You send us back your old unit (the core), which we recondition in turn. We arrange all the transport both ways, with no logistics for you to handle.

What are the delivery times and payment options?

Delivery throughout France and Europe depending on the availability of the reference, with payment in up to 10 instalments.
